If you are interested in technology but would also like to work with people professionally, Engineering Pedagogics is the right program for you. The Engineering Pedagogics degree program is all about dealing with vocational education and the vocational education system while studying an engineering subject and, to a lesser extent, a second teaching subject. This provides you with an attractive and contemporary combination of academic subjects. You can not only apply the technical knowledge you acquire during your studies yourself, but also teach it to others. Most students complete a master's degree after their bachelor's degree and go on to become teachers at vocational schools. However, there are also opportunities in other areas. The program includes vocational education, a main vocational subject (metal technology, electrical engineering, or civil engineering), and a second teaching subject.

* General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) * Subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification (not Fachhochschulreife) * Delta examination of the University of Mannheim (for holders of a Fachhochschulreife) * Recognized advanced vocational training (e.g. master craftsperson) or vocational training with professional experience and aptitude test * For non-EU/EEA nationals with a foreign school-leaving certificate: The certificate must be recognized as a direct university entrance qualification in Germany or additional requirements must be met
