📋 Program Hakkında

The focus of this Master Programme is to educate students by providing knowledge of the complex relationships between atmosphere, hydrosphere (ocean), cryosphere (ice region), solid earth (land) and climate. Gaining experience in the application of experimental methods relevant for environmental physics at an advanced level, numerical data analysis using supercomputers and data interpretation via sophisticated models are study objectives. This Master Programme provides students with the physical, mathematical and chemical principles, which are used in the modern research undertaken by the participating research institutes IUP (Institute of Environmental Physics at the University of Bremen) and AWI (Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research in Bremerhaven).

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* First B.Sc./academic degree (3-4 year course with 180 CP or equivalent) in physics or mathematics or another appropriately related field * At least 90 CP in physics * For related fields with substantial portion of advanced physics and mathematics, a GRE subject test might be required * Advanced applicants are students who can provide proof of credit points that might be transferred to the program * For admission to a Master's program, a completed Bachelor's degree is required. For application, a minimum number of credit points is sufficient (specified in the admission regulations) * Some Master's programs require a minimum grade in the Bachelor's degree * Some programs require proof of a minimum number of credit points in specific subject areas

* English: C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages * TOEFL: minimum score of 95 iBT * IELTS: minimum score of 7.0 * Non-standard requirements: Applicants who obtained their university entrance qualification or prior academic degree in English may provide proof with their degree certificate or confirmation letter from their university * For German-language Master's programs: German language skills at C1 level are required * Language certificates must be submitted no later than two weeks after the start of lectures * Abitur or Bachelor's degree completed in the required language is recognized as C1-level proof
