📋 Program Hakkında

The Master of Arts in Literary Studies: Literature, Culture, Media at the University of Siegen allows students to explore literature from new perspectives in media and cultural contexts. Students become part of a dynamic research community with a longstanding tradition of excellence, highlighted by groundbreaking projects like the Collaborative Research Center "Transformations of the Popular." The program builds both methodological and scholarly skills with an interdisciplinary approach. Students can select their preferred focus—English/American Studies, Modern German Literature, or Romance Studies (French or Spanish)—and pursue in-depth expertise in their chosen field.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Minimum degree required: Completed bachelor's degree in literary studies or a degree from another bachelor's program with a literary, cultural or media studies component * Other requirements: The examination board will decide on equivalent degrees

🗣 Dil Gereksinimleri

* Very good language skills in the chosen specialization must be demonstrated (at least level C1) * For Romance Studies (with Spanish) as a language focus, admission is possible at level B2 in Spanish; in this case, proof of C1 must be provided at the latest when registering for the master's thesis
