📋 Program Hakkında

The Biology B.Sc. program explores the diversity of life on earth - from the smallest molecules to complex organisms. Students study genetics, ecology, evolution, cell biology, and biochemistry to understand how living organisms are structured, function and interact with each other. Practical laboratory work is a central part of the program, where students carry out experiments, use modern analysis techniques and systematically evaluate scientific data. At KIT, students can choose between two study variants: General Biology and Applied Biology. The program provides a sound education in the fundamentals of natural sciences including chemistry, physics, and mathematics. The degree program is divided into two phases: the first phase (1st to 4th semester) covers basic biology and related natural sciences, while in the final semesters students deepen their knowledge according to their chosen field of study.

* Higher education entrance qualification (HZB) such as General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification * For non-EU/EEA nationals with a foreign school-leaving certificate: The certificate must be recognized as a direct university entrance qualification in Germany or additional requirements must be met * Proof of participation in a study orientation test or consultation (for Germans and those with German equivalent status)
