📋 Program Hakkında

Digital Process Engineering (DPE) is a four-semester Master's degree program aimed at Bachelor's graduates with a solid background in Chemical and Process Engineering or Environmental Process Engineering and a strong interest in the digital implementation of process engineering problems. Students completing the program are able to develop complex algorithms and simulation tools for application to various process engineering problems and to conduct research in their chosen areas of specialization. The program enables students to combine methods of data science with those of physical-chemical modeling and simulation and apply them to process engineering processes. The curriculum includes computing, data visualization and machine learning. The degree program consists of bridge modules (compulsory elective area 1), compulsory modules, focus areas (compulsory elective area 2), elective modules and the Master's thesis. In the focus areas, students must choose two out of four possible specializations in process engineering: Bioprocess Engineering, Fluid Process Engineering, Particle Process Engineering and Thermodynamics. Successful graduates will be qualified for a professional career in industry and for doctoral positions in the broad field of process engineering.

* Minimum degree required: Bachelor's degree with a solid background in Chemical and Process Engineering or Environmental Process Engineering * Strong interest in the digital implementation of process engineering problems * Required lectures/modules in specific fields (marked in RED in the official list) * Total of 120 ECTS credits must be acquired

🗣 Dil Gereksinimleri

* TOEFL: 80 (internet-based) / 213 (computer-based) * IELTS: 6.0 * Non-standard requirements: Knowledge of German is not necessary for acceptance, but basic knowledge (A1 level) has to be proven in an internal exam within one year of studies
