“Yunan ve Latin Filolojisi” Master programı, geleneksel olarak öğretilen Klasik Filoloji (Yunan ve Latin Çalışmaları), Bizans Çalışmaları (Bizans Tarihi ve Kültürü) ve Modern Yunan Filolojisi konularının çağdaş bir birleşimidir. Program, dillerden ve edebiyatlardan (Antik, Orta Çağ ve Modern Yunanca, Latince) birinde ve ilgili kültürel alanlarda derinlemesine bilgi sağlar. Yunan ve Latin Filolojisi Master programında öğrenciler, bireysel uzmanlaşma çerçevesinde aşağıdaki konu profillerini inceleyebilirler: Yunan Çalışmaları, Latin Çalışmaları veya Bizans ve Modern Yunan Filolojisi. Program, akademik iş piyasasının güncel gereksinimlerini dikkate alır ve üç profil alanından birinde sonraki doktora çalışmaları için sağlam bir temel sunar. The Master's program "Greek and Latin Philology" is a contemporary combination of the traditionally taught subjects of Classical Philology (Greek and Latin Studies), Byzantine Studies (History and Culture of Byzantium), and Modern Greek Philology. The program provides in-depth knowledge of one of the languages and literatures (Ancient, Medieval, and Modern Greek, Latin) as well as the associated cultural areas. In the Master's program Greek and Latin Philology, students can study the following subject profiles within the framework of individual specialization: Greek Studies, Latin Studies, or Byzantine and Modern Greek Philology. The program considers the current requirements of the academic job market and provides a solid foundation for subsequent doctoral studies in one of the three profile areas. The profound knowledge of ancient languages and literatures or modern Greek language and literature taught in the program, together with the key qualifications acquired during the course of study, also form an outstanding qualification for later professional activity in cultural mediation fields, such as adult education, libraries and publishing, museums, archives, etc.
