The Digital Film with focus on Animation & VFX program at Lazi Akademie is designed for those interested in creating special effects for films, video games, and bringing animated characters and worlds to life digitally. Unlike typical training programs, this is not just software training but a creative space where students work on real projects with students from other departments. The basic training provides fundamental knowledge in lighting, photography, film, media technology, creativity, and design. Students learn the entire process from idea to storyboard and design to production and professional application of industry-standard software tools. In the Animation & VFX department, students implement their own visions step by step, working with professional software to create 3D models, textures, and animations, gaining a deep understanding of visual effects and CGI. The program prepares graduates for promising career prospects in the growing film, television, and video game industries, as well as in architectural visualization, product design, and advertising.

* Minimum education: Abitur (high school diploma) or mittlere Reife (secondary school certificate)
