📋 Program Hakkında

The master's degree course "Earth Sciences and Global Change" is an interdisciplinary programme that deals with the complex interactions between the Earth's geosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere and biosphere as well as the global changes caused by natural processes and human activities. This research-oriented master's degree course provides a solid scientific basis for understanding climate change and loss of environmental resources and biodiversity. Students acquire in-depth knowledge and methodological skills in geosciences, focusing on physical, chemical and biological processes and their interactions in the Earth system. The program combines fieldwork with analytical laboratory methods, data evaluation and interpretation, and development of solution strategies for sustainable use of natural spaces. Classes are taught in English.

* Undergraduate university degree in one of the natural sciences * At least 90 ECTS credit points from the undergraduate degree should come from an area related to geoscience/earth science

* English: B2 level of the "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages" * TOEFL or IELTS test required
