📋 Program Hakkında

The Digital Industrial Management and Engineering program prepares students optimally for roles in research and development, in research institutions, or for pursuing a doctoral degree. The program emphasizes applied research in the field of 'Digitalization in Industry' with many students using AI methods to solve problems within value networks or companies. Students work independently on current research topics from the beginning, with a personalized study focus allowing them to choose their own research topic. The program includes a mandatory semester abroad at either Stellenbosch University (South Africa) or Purdue University (USA), offering a double degree option. Students gain extensive knowledge in sustainability, data science, management science, supply chain management, information and communication technologies, as well as smart factory and logistics in the context of 'Industry 4.0'. Research is conducted using modern infrastructure in a real factory environment (Werk150) on the Reutlingen University campus.

* English language proficiency at level B2 required * TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge Certificate or equivalent proof accepted * Not required if degree was earned in an English-language program (at least 50%) or if English is native language * German language test required if university degree was not obtained in a German-language program or if German is not native language
