📋 Program Hakkında

The Lasers and Photonics Master's program focuses on cutting-edge interdisciplinary research in optical technologies. Students can specialize in fields such as optical metrology and imaging, modern laser systems, ultra-short pulse lasers and femtosecond technology, nonlinear optics, terahertz technology, spectroscopy, laser material processing, and semiconductor optics. The program involves students in high-ranking publications and offers opportunities to visit research partners worldwide. The program is completely held in English and offers a broad spectrum of subjects including optics, optoelectronics, laser applications, laser metrology, and ultrashort laser physics. In addition to lectures, the curriculum includes laboratory projects in modern, well-equipped laser laboratories, participation in conferences, and programming courses. The large number of elective courses allows students to actively shape their professional profile. German courses for international students and other language courses can also be credited as modules towards the degree. The program features small classes, very well-equipped labs, intensive personal consulting, student services, participation in research projects, and excellent international contacts with industry and academia. The program is accredited by AQAS (Agentur für Qualitätssicherung durch Akkreditierung von Studiengängen e.V.).
