📋 Program Hakkında

The subject Geography is offered as one of two subjects within the Master's Teacher Training Course for Grammar Schools. Students gain insights into geography teaching research and scientific research as well as into research-based learning for school settings. They build on experience gained during the Interdisciplinary Bachelor's Degree Programme through practical training. The program focuses on what makes good geography lessons, lesson design, and current debates on specialist, subject-didactic and educational aspects. Students undertake practical training at schools in the Hannover region, planning and delivering lessons independently. The link between innovative research and advanced practical experience is a special feature of the programme. Course content includes design of questionnaires, development of empirical issues, educational objectives, epistemological foundations, media literacy, organization of lessons, reflective methods, and research-based learning.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Minimum degree required: An undergraduate degree in a related field of study, such as Geography as subject in the Interdisciplinary Bachelor's Degree Programme (Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science) * Non-academic requirements: A school internship and a further internship (in a company, a social institution, a sports club, etc.) for at least four weeks must have been completed (compulsory)
