📋 Program Hakkında

In this design studio, students will be asked to design a parking building capable to answer the needs of contemporary society. By focusing on the few elements — pillars, beams, floors — that make up this type of building, students will develop broader thinking about the potential of car parking spaces and their possible future uses. The course explores how the intrinsic qualities of great buildings — urban, spatial, structural and constructive — guarantee their long life and various possibilities of use. The site of the project will be located in an European city. The course examines the evolution of car parks and their future in the context of changing transportation needs and ecological considerations.

* Prerequisite: 2nd year students

🗣 Dil Gereksinimleri

* Very good German language skills required * Accepted certificates: DSH-2, DSH-3, TestDaF (4.0) or "telc C1 Hochschule" * B2 or C1 level certificates are not sufficient
