📋 Program Hakkında

The Dutch language has 23 million speakers in the Netherlands and Flanders alone. Dutch is one of the medium-sized languages of Europe and is becoming a popular subject of studies both internationally and in Germany. This Master's program in Dutch literature and Dutch linguistics is offered at a high level and in Dutch. Students can concentrate on either language or literary sciences, or choose modules from both disciplines. The program features small learning groups with excellent mentoring, and a teaching style focused on current research. Students are encouraged to study abroad at partner universities in the Netherlands and Belgium. The program lasts 4 semesters with 120 ECTS credits covering areas such as language acquisition/processing, Dutch structure and variation, text and literature history, and more. Part-time study is possible.

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Dutch or in a closely related field worth at least 60 ECTS credits * English language proficiency at level B1 of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) * Special admission requirements apply

* German: DSH (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang) Level 2 or TestDaF (Test - Deutsch als Fremdsprache) with level 4 in all four areas * English: CEFR Level B1 or university entrance qualification or university degree obtained in English * Non-standard requirements: Proof can be provided through TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge Advanced Exam, or Cambridge Proficiency Exam
