📋 Program Hakkında

The Colour Design program focuses on developing strategic colour concepts through experimental testing, methodical observation, and intensive research. Colour designers identify trends, develop collections, design surfaces, and create applied atmospheres. They work with applied colour systems, mood boards, colour and trend profiles, colour plans, pattern developments, and structures to develop analogue and digital colour, material, and surface concepts for products, series, collections, urban spaces, facades, and interiors. The study of colour design in Hildesheim is unique in Europe and prepares students to master colour as a means of expression and design, integrating formal aesthetic, artistic, and scientific-technological factors with cultural aspects.

* University entrance qualification (German or international) * Proof of special artistic aptitude through assessment (portfolio test) * Portfolio of 15-20 works * Homework assignment * Interview (10-15 minutes)

* Non-standard requirements: For applicants with university entrance qualification not acquired in German, one of the following is required: * Level 3 TestDaF issued by the TestDaF Institute * DSH (German Language Test for University Entrance) Level 1 * Goethe Certificate C2 * telc certificate in German C1 University * DSD (German Language Diploma) Level 2
