📋 Program Hakkında

The Bachelor's program in Evidence-based Nursing (240 ECTS) combines university studies and professional qualification as a nurse at an academic level at the University Medical Center Halle. Students learn to analyze complex health problems relevant to nursing. They support patients based on scientific knowledge and can derive nursing and medical measures and strategies. The program integrates medical training that qualifies graduates for certain activities previously reserved exclusively for doctors ('transfer of medical practice'). After successful completion, graduates can work in three areas: diabetic metabolic condition, chronic wounds, and dementia. Students sign a training contract with the University Hospital Halle at the beginning of their studies and receive a monthly training allowance for the duration of their studies.

* University entrance qualification (usually Abitur) * Not eligible: Applicants who have already successfully completed or definitively failed training as a healthcare and nursing professional, pediatric healthcare and nursing professional, geriatric nurse, or nursing professional * A preliminary internship in nursing is highly recommended as preparation for this program
