📋 Program Hakkında

The History program helps students understand how we became what we are today. The study provides a deeper and critical understanding of our cultural environment and the perspectives and developments of today's society. Students learn historical work through critical comparative reading of research opinions and by working with sources. The program is divided into three major epochs: Ancient History, Medieval History, and Modern History. Students acquire specialized historical knowledge as well as didactic, social, and communicative skills. The program includes a mandatory four-week internship in the extended major subject to gain insights into future professional fields. After completing the degree, graduates can deepen their knowledge in a Master's program or enter professional life in areas such as public relations, cultural work, publishing, media, documentation, tourism, and marketing.

* Knowledge of two modern foreign languages is required (one must be English or French) * Latin knowledge is required for the extended major subject (can be acquired during studies if not learned in school)
