* Good musical education * General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) * Membership in the Evangelical Church or a church that maintains church fellowship with the EKD * In justified individual cases, the requirement of general higher education entrance qualification can be waived if the applicant demonstrates special musical talent and sufficient general education
