Computer science is the science of processing and evaluating information. The program offers extensive, in-depth training in IT, covering fundamentals of computer science, mathematics, and programming. Students learn key skills such as teamworking and communicating effectively, gaining the ability to analyze expert contexts and solve typical computer science problems with appropriate methods. The curriculum includes fundamentals and concepts in computer science, software development cycles, business process modeling, software architecture, and internet applications. The program has a high practical relevance with lab exercises, a project semester, and an internship semester. Graduates have excellent career opportunities in software development, IT consulting, IT operations, system integration, and project management across various sectors including software companies, firms with software-containing products, companies with software-assisted business processes, and research institutions.

* Regular programs: DSH (2 or 3), TestDaf (4 in all sections), or telc German C1 * International programs taught in English: high language proficiency in English required (specific requirements vary by program)
