📋 Program Hakkında

The consecutive Master's program in Jewish Studies: Migration, Minority and Diaspora Studies aims to further develop knowledge acquired in the field both in terms of content and interdisciplinary approach. Emphasis is placed on largely independent work. The knowledge imparted should also enable students, if desired and qualified, to write a dissertation after successfully completing their studies. Students are supported in developing their own profile of interests and research. They can choose from various methodological, thematic, and geographical focuses. The program contains an extensive elective area with imported modules on migration, minority, and diaspora studies. The program can be freely combined with all Master's partial degree programs at the University of Halle.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* First professional university degree (usually Bachelor) in a Jewish or Middle East-oriented course of study with at least 60 LP - for example, included in the university's own Bachelor's program Asia and Mediterranean Region * The qualifying degree must be submitted within four months after the start of studies if not available at the time of application

🗣 Dil Gereksinimleri

* Knowledge of Biblical Hebrew (comparable to Hebraicum) and Modern Hebrew (Ulpan level Bet) is strongly recommended * Solid knowledge of English and confident handling of English-language literature is required as some courses and examinations are offered in English
