📋 Program Hakkında

The Global Studies Programme (GSP) is a critical research-oriented social science graduate programme. The primary goal of the programme is to analyze the social world we live in by research and work towards envisioning and realizing alternative futures. The program focuses on globalization topics, with students spending their 2nd and 3rd semesters at partner universities abroad. Students spend Semester 1 at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Semester 2 at either FLACSO (Argentina) or University of Pretoria (South Africa), Semester 3 at either Jawaharlal Nehru University (India) or Chulalongkorn University (Thailand), and Semester 4 at one of the partner universities. The programme requires a Master's Thesis, with students expected to reflect on their GSP education, experience, and research in the final thesis.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Previous studies: Special knowledge in social sciences, politics, sociology, regional studies, ethnology or a related field with at least 60 ECTS credits. These credits can be accumulated from multiple disciplines. * Academic qualification: The degree of qualification from previous studies (final grade) is weighted at 51% in the selection process. * International experience: Experience gained abroad for at least six months is required and weighted at 19% in the selection process. This must include at least one continuous stay abroad of 3 months or continuous activity of 450 hours. The international experience must have been acquired within the last 5 years before the application period. * Core requirement: Social Science degree and fluency in English. * Selection criteria: Overall academic performance, international experiences, capacity for self-reliance and self-discipline are taken into consideration.
