📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's Degree in Contemporary Instrumental Music course focuses on works composed from the second half of the 20th century to the present day. The program offers an opening to new forms and performance techniques as well as a continuation and transformation of tradition to electroacoustic music. It emphasizes personal creativity through intensive instrumental lessons, cooperation with composition classes, music informatics and the university computer studio. Projects with the Ensemble for New Music and the Institute for Music Informatics and Musicology enrich the instruction. The curriculum includes multimedia sound art, performance, improvisation, notation and conducting of contemporary music to expand artistic horizons.
