📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's in Building Physics focuses on understanding the physical principles at work in buildings, carrying out practical measurements and calculations, and creating scientifically sound concepts. The program emphasizes developing knowledge for buildings of the future that are energy optimized, sustainable, and comfortable. Students study at two technical universities: TH Rosenheim and HFT Stuttgart. The curriculum includes hygrothermal component simulation, sound insulation in timber and lightweight construction, measurement technology, flow simulation, advanced fluid mechanics, BIM and building simulation, sound insulation for technical building systems, room acoustics, building acoustics calculation, and sustainable building. The program includes theoretical content implemented in simulation and calculation programs, practical laboratory exercises, elective specialization modules, interdisciplinary study projects, and culminates in a Master's thesis.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* First qualifying university degree (Bachelor, Diploma or equivalent) in Building Physics, Climate Engineering, Energy and Building Technology, Timber Construction, Interior Design, or a related engineering discipline * Minimum 3.5-year full-time study program (210 ECTS credits) * If first degree has less than 210 ECTS (minimum 180 ECTS), additional practical semester required before starting regular studies * Subject knowledge requirements: Mathematics (10 CP), Physical and building physics fundamentals (12 CP) * German language proficiency * Recommended knowledge: fire protection, complex mathematics, acoustics, thermal dynamics, building technology, English language level B2
