📋 Program Hakkında

The master's programme focuses on advanced, already research-oriented courses in the subjects of inorganic, organic and physical chemistry, as well as in the subjects surrounding the department's main research areas, especially life sciences and material sciences. Students choose one subject of specialisation from the three major subjects: inorganic, organic and physical chemistry. As electives, the program offers analytical chemistry, biochemistry, chemical material sciences, geochemistry and environmental chemistry, theoretical chemistry, industrial chemistry as well as fields of study from biology, computer science, mathematics and physics. The courses are designed with interdisciplinarity in mind to help reduce barriers between traditional subjects of chemistry. Graduates acquire a qualification profile relevant to modern research and are qualified to take up doctoral studies.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Minimum degree required: University degree (bachelor) in chemistry or a related subject with clear links to chemistry * GRE test: Required for applicants who completed their university degree in a country that did not sign the Lisbon Treaty (ETS No. 165), with at least a combined average score of 150 points (verbal reasoning and quantitative reasoning score)

* TOEFL: 72 points (internet based) * Cambridge Certificate: at least a Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE) * IELTS: at least band 5 * Alternative: Five years of continuous English lessons at a German-speaking secondary school completed with at least 5 points * Alternative: Having attended secondary school, completed a bachelor's degree or studied at least one semester abroad in Australia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Malta, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa or the United States
