The subject of Spanish in the Master of Education program focuses on Spanish language practice as well as Spanish literature, linguistics and cultural studies. It covers the improvement of practical Spanish language skills (both oral and written) and translations in academic and socio-cultural contexts. The program includes content from literature and linguistics, with students learning about methods and theories from linguistics and literary criticism and their practical application. Students analyze Spanish literature of various epochs, genres and authors, considering cultural, political, social and historical contexts. The program emphasizes educational sciences and subject didactics, including theories of language teaching and learning, with focus on communicative foreign language instruction. Students choose two school subjects (Spanish and a second subject) plus Educational Sciences. The practical semester is a key component of the program. Possible career paths include teaching at schools.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* University degree (German or non-German) in a relevant discipline * German language proficiency (DSH level 3, CEFR level C2, as per DSH exam regulations) * Two foreign languages (modern languages on CEFR level A2 or qualification in Latin/Greek) * Specific modules: 67 ECTS credits each for subject knowledge/subject didactics modules in the chosen school subjects (with 3 ECTS credits each for subject didactics) * 24 ECTS credits for educational sciences * Bachelor's thesis 7 ECTS credits * 9 weeks internship, including 25 days at a school * Students must study two subjects which they will later teach in the classroom
