📋 Program Hakkında

The dual study program 'Industrial Pharmacy' is built on the successful concept of the basic study program 'Applied Pharmacy' and offers a unique combination of scientific foundations and medical-pharmaceutical-technological expertise. The six-semester program concludes with a 'Bachelor of Science' degree and is conducted at the Pirmasens location. The educational content of the program is specifically tailored to the industrial requirements of modern pharmaceutical companies. It includes both classical pharmaceutical subjects and modern educational focuses such as pharmaceutical biotechnology, 'biological drugs' (so-called biologicals), nanotechnology, quality management, process engineering, and patent law. Another focus is on quality control and analytics of pharmaceuticals. The nationwide unique combination of subjects is oriented towards the current requirements for industrially oriented drug development and manufacturing.

* Minimum degree required: General higher education entrance qualification (Allgemeine Hochschulreife), university of applied sciences entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) or an equivalent recognized educational background * Non-academic requirements: Experience in the pharmaceutical-medical field is helpful but not a prerequisite
