📋 Program Hakkında

The Applied Materials Science degree programme introduces students to the topics of materials and production engineering over three standard semesters. The programme focuses on process and materials bionics, nanotechnology, composite materials, implant technology, additive manufacturing and the processing of high-performance materials. Studies consist of compulsory modules (e.g., surface technology and functional materials), three selectable specialisation modules and further elective courses, allowing students to tailor their studies to individual interests. The Tuttlingen Campus is equipped with a cutting-edge materials laboratory for Materials Science programmes, creating an ideal working environment for students, professors, doctoral candidates and companies.

* Minimum degree required: Completed first degree in the STEM field (210 ECTS credits) * Non-academic requirements: Application process is based on a selection procedure * Other: If you have fewer ECTS credits in your bachelor's degree, you can make up the missing credits during your master's degree * Target audience: Materials engineers, medical engineers, mechanical engineers, production engineers, and natural scientists who wish to expand their skills in materials science
