The course focuses on international sales and marketing strategies. It begins by examining why companies decide to go international and the motives behind B2C and B2B marketing activities. Students learn how to select and analyze international markets, conduct international market research, and understand customer/consumer behavior across different markets. The course covers various market entry strategies including export, licensing, franchising, joint ventures, and international sales subsidiaries. It addresses the international marketing mix considering cultural aspects of consumer expectations and buying behavior. Students also learn about different types of international marketing organizations and how to monitor international operations using appropriate controlling tools. A major goal is to sensitize students to intercultural aspects of international business. Course contents include: going international, international market analysis and research, international market entry strategies, international marketing mix, international marketing organization, controlling of international marketing activities, and aspects of intercultural management.

* Note: B2 or C1 level certificates alone are not sufficient
