📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's program in Management and Technology of Water and Wastewater (MTW³) is an internationally oriented 2-year interdisciplinary course addressing the global water crisis. The program focuses on water management, advanced engineering topics, and process engineering with emphasis on water harvesting, water treatment, and wastewater treatment. Based on natural scientific and technical fundamentals, the curriculum includes topics on fluid dynamics, sewer systems, water and waste water treatment, management and controlling. Students must complete 18 compulsory courses and can choose additional lectures totaling 12 credits from a special catalog to focus on their personal interests. The program also allows for selecting non-technical subjects worth 6 credits. Graduates will be familiar with German water management and treatment systems and will be able to think interdisciplinarily by combining knowledge on economics, water management, and engineering. Career opportunities include positions in engineering companies, water boards, government organizations, NGOs, research companies, and universities. For international students, the program offers technology transfer opportunities to their home countries considering special regional demands.

* Completion of a bachelor's degree program in the ISE study program with an overall grade of 3.0 or better * Completion of a course of study lasting at least three years in engineering, natural sciences or computer science in Germany with an average grade of 3.0 or better * A comparable degree with an average grade of at least 3.0 * The examination board may require additional knowledge to be demonstrated by the time of registration for the Master's thesis
