Students enrolled in the 'Gerontology, Health and Care' degree programme apply multidisciplinary approaches to dealing with general and specialised issues related to ageing and age. The Bachelor's degree programme comprises the interdisciplinary subject-specific and method-related handling of the disciplines of gerontology, nursing sciences and care, ethics, and thanatology, geriatrics and (geronto) psychiatry, health promotion, prevention and rehabilitation, as well as the scientific reference disciplines. As a teaching degree, it will ensure the basics of professionalism and quality for future teachers in vocational schools with the corresponding subject area. The programme can be combined with any Bachelor's degree programme that offers a corresponding 33% or 59 CP scope. The field of study comprises interdisciplinary professional and methodological examination of the disciplines and related sciences of gerontology (science of age and ageing), nursing science and care, geriatrics, and (geronto-)psychiatry (geriatric medicine) as well as health promotion, prevention, and rehabilitation.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* For the Master's degree programme in Gerontology, Health and Care: A successfully completed three-year training in nursing or a professional license under the Nursing Professions Act is required. * For the Bachelor's degree programme: Students who have completed a three-year training in nursing or have a professional license under the Nursing Professions Act may have this credited as equivalent to a module result for the integrated practice module.
