📋 Program Hakkında

Students in the German Studies degree programme will focus on German language and literature from their inception through the current day, examining their social and cultural relationships as well as their theoretical bases. The programme provides students with an entry-level professional qualification and equips them with the necessary skills to be able to independently resolve linguistic, literary, and cultural-history questions and problems. The degree programme is divided into an Introductory Phase (1st and 2nd semesters), an Intermediary Phase (3rd and 4th semesters), and a Specialisation Phase (5th and 6th semesters). The minor in German Studies (25%) requires a specialisation in one of three subjects: German Linguistics, Old German Philology, or Modern German Literature.
