📋 Program Hakkında

The research-oriented Master's program 'Health Care Management' is offered by the Faculty of Business Administration at Campus Essen. The program has an interdisciplinary approach due to the strong social, health policy, and legal penetration of the healthcare system: Medical Systems and Methods (for non-physicians), Health Care Informatics and Technology Assessment, Ethics, Medical Law, Political Science, Health Economics, Health Care Management, and Business Administration. Medical fundamentals (for business students) and business fundamentals (for medical and health science students) are given broad coverage. In the core areas of Health Care Management and Health Economics, the programs focus on the scientific contexts of management tasks in the healthcare system. Graduates should be employable in various areas of healthcare (associations, authorities, health insurance companies, hospitals, and innovative areas such as network management of integrated care), especially at interfaces between management and scientific research. The program is aimed at graduates of a business administration bachelor's program or at physicians or graduates of a health sciences bachelor's program. The master's programs build on the prior knowledge acquired in the first degree and are therefore considered 'consecutive'. The successful completion of the master's examination entitles the graduate to pursue a doctorate.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* For Business Administration graduates: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (B.Sc.) from the University of Duisburg-Essen or an equivalent degree in Business Administration or another suitable program with a business administration minor. In this case, at least 30 ECTS in business administration subjects and a total of at least 180 ECTS are required. * For Medical and Health Science graduates: University degree in Human or Dental Medicine, Healthcare or Health Sciences with at least 30 ECTS in the medical field and a total of at least 180 ECTS. * Bachelor's degree with a minimum grade of 2.7 (German grading system). * German language proficiency.
