📋 Program Hakkında

This program focuses on literary and cultural phenomena encompassed by the concept of "modernity" - a term that comprises both an historical epoch and a specific social experience. Using a combined literary and cultural studies approach, you will be studying a variety of methodologies and their explanatory power as well as their applicability to modern issues and questions. The goal of the Master's program is to deepen your knowledge and understanding of diverse aspects of modernity in the English-speaking world. Apart from providing European and American perspectives, the program also includes an analysis of African, Asian, and Australian phenomena of literary and cultural modernity.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* First academic degree that qualifies for a profession (e.g., Bachelor's degree) * Degree should be in English Studies, American Studies, or Anglophone Studies, or a comparable Anglophone degree program in literary/cultural studies * Applications with degrees in related disciplines are also possible

🗣 Dil Gereksinimleri

* English language skills: minimum C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages * Can be evidenced by documents or through successful completion of modules Sprachpraxis 1 and 2 at the University of Potsdam or comparable modules from other universities
