📋 Program Hakkında

Econometrics is a four-semester, English-language master's program jointly offered by TU Dortmund University (TUDO), Ruhr-University Bochum (RUB) and the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE). The program combines the expertise in empirical economic research and economics from the faculties of economics at the three UA Ruhr universities with the methodological training at the Faculty of Statistics at TU Dortmund. The program is divided into compulsory modules (ME1-ME4) covering statistical theory, econometrics, case studies, and time series analysis, and elective modules (ME5-ME7) focusing on economics, applied econometrics, and econometric methods. Students can specialize in economic theory, econometric methodology, and applied econometrics. The program is designed for graduates with a Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, or related disciplines who are interested in acquiring the necessary theoretical foundations for a career in econometric research.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline * Knowledge in economics (at least 15 ECTS credits) * Knowledge in mathematics, statistics, econometrics and empirical economic research (at least 25 ECTS credits) * Candidates who do not fully meet the credit requirements may be admitted on condition of completing certain undergraduate level courses

* English proficiency at least level B2 * Accepted proofs: German certificate of general qualification for university entrance (English from 5th or 7th grade up to the Abitur), internationally recognised language certificate, diploma from an English-speaking school or course of study, or comparable evidence
