📋 Program Hakkında

Master of Education program for teaching English at the gymnasium level (secondary school). The program prepares students for teaching careers in the German school system, with a focus on English language and literature. The curriculum includes modules in English literature and linguistics (8 ECTS), English language competence (6 ECTS), English didactics (7 ECTS), and school-oriented modules (6 ECTS). Students must complete a total of 27 ECTS points, with 17 ECTS in subject-specific courses and 10 ECTS in didactics. The program includes five core educational science modules: Teaching (Unterrichten), Education and Socialization (Erziehung und Sozialisation), Assessment and Support (Beurteilen und Fördern), Inclusion (Inklusion), and Innovation and Professionalization (Innovieren und Professionalisieren). A mandatory school internship semester (Schulpraxissemester) is also part of the program. The Master's thesis must be written in English.
