📋 Program Hakkında

The Bachelor's program for Primary School Teaching is the first step towards becoming a teacher. It combines subject knowledge with extensive practical school experience, providing the foundation for competently guiding children from age 5 on their educational journey. The program focuses on education, support, and upbringing of 5 to 12-year-old primary school children. Students acquire in-depth qualifications in educational sciences and develop competencies in their chosen subjects. The program also covers key competencies such as digitalization and AI, health education, education for sustainable development, teamwork ability, and cooperative communication with parents. Students gain intercultural knowledge, diagnostic and support competencies, and are prepared for integrative and inclusive teaching in heterogeneous learning groups. The program consists of 180 credit points (CP) divided into modules across several study areas: Educational Sciences (46 CP), Subject Sciences/Subject Didactics (102 CP), School Practical Studies (26 CP), and Final Thesis (6 CP).

* General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or comparable qualification * Proof of participation in the online teacher orientation test for prospective students * For the subjects Art and Sports, an entrance examination is required * For the subject Music, the university conducts the award-winning study start concept "AufTakt" * For the subjects Protestant Theology/Religious Education and Catholic Theology/Religious Education, membership in the respective denomination is a prerequisite
