The Master's programme in Computer Science offers further qualification for graduates holding a Bachelor's degree in the fields of technical, applied and media computer science. With the profile 'Complex Software Systems', the degree programme looks at the development of distributed application systems over the entire spectrum – from the user interface to the control of hardware and also addresses the reasons, forms and methods involved in mastering the complexity of such systems and their development. The programme enables graduates to actively participate in the processes of designing, realising and further developing complex application systems in companies, and provides the basis for engaging in application-oriented research. The Master's degree can also be studied in a cooperative programme or part-time, extending the duration to five semesters.

* Minimum degree required: A first professionally qualifying degree with a score of at least 210 ECTS credits in the field of computer science, mathematics or other relevant fields of study (Bachelor's degree, Diplom or comparable degree from abroad) * Minimum Grade Required: Average grade of 'good' (2.5) or ECTS Grade A to B
