📋 Program Hakkında

The international English-language Master's degree program "Nutrition and Biomedicine" at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) focuses on how nutrition can promote health and contribute to the prevention of diseases. The program examines the role of nutrition in non-communicable complex diseases such as obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, inflammatory bowel disease, allergies and cancer. It combines content of a research-oriented natural science course at the interface between nutritional science, human biology and medicine, providing in-depth nutritional science knowledge with a scientific character that integrates relevant content from modern biology, medicine and other specialist disciplines. The program trains scientists with a research-oriented character in the field of nutritional science and nutritional medicine who are competitive on an international level. Graduates are qualified for academic careers at universities and non-university research institutions, as well as for leading positions in federal research institutions or in research and development departments in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Qualified Bachelor of Science degree of at least six semesters or equivalent in Life Sciences, Nutritional Science or comparable natural sciences with biosciences focus * At time of application, a Transcript of Records with modules amounting to at least 120 credits (ECTS) must be available (for 7-semester Bachelor's: at least 150 credits, for 8-semester Bachelor's: at least 180 credits) * For applicants with degrees from outside the Lisbon Convention area: must pass a qualification test (TUM-Test) with at least 40 points * All applicants must pass an aptitude assessment procedure * From winter semester 2025/26: Preliminary Documentation (VPD) required for all applicants with entrance qualification not obtained at a German university
