The field of Biomedical Engineering (BME) is dedicated to the advancement of human health through technological innovation. Its scope includes the research and development of technology-oriented methods, systems and techniques for early detection, diagnosis, therapy and rehabilitation. BME is a multidisciplinary field at the intersection of medicine and technology. Recent studies have identified it as one of the top ten technologies set to shape the 21st century. The global market for medical technology products and systems represents one of the most attractive growth opportunities. Germany is a global leader in the medical technology industry, and BME graduates enjoy excellent career prospects in the medium and long term.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Minimum degree required: Bachelor's degree in a similar field * Special admission requirements: 70 points minimum * Points system: - 50, 40, 30 or 20 points depending on your first university degree compared to the Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering at TU Ilmenau - 20, 10 or 5 points for the final grade of the degree program - Up to 15 points for grades in relevant subjects (Medical basics, Modeling in biomedical engineering, Biosignal processing) - 5 points for Bachelor's thesis graded as "good" or "very good" or qualified professional experience of at least one year * Knowledge required in: mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, electronic components, biomedical engineering, human physiology, medical imaging systems

* CEFR: C1 (minimum for direct enrollment) * CEFR: B2 (minimum for application and admission with conditional acceptance) * Language skills must be demonstrated with a recognized language certificate
