📋 Program Hakkında

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Natural Sciences and Technology is a teaching degree program that prepares students to teach at secondary schools. The program consists of two major subjects (scientific main subjects) and educational science studies. Students must earn 180 credit points (ECTS) in total. The Natural Sciences and Technology major can be combined with Biology, Chemistry, Geography, or Physics. The program includes subject-specific courses, didactics, and educational sciences. After completing both the Bachelor and Master of Education programs and the subsequent preparatory service, graduates can teach at general education high schools, community schools, and vocational schools.

* General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) * Subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification (not Fachhochschulreife) * Delta examination of the University of Mannheim (for holders of a Fachhochschulreife) * Recognized advanced vocational training or vocational training with professional experience and aptitude test * Participation in the Teacher Orientation Test ("Career Counselling for Teachers" (CCT)) according to §60 of the State Higher Education Act is required for enrollment
