📋 Program Hakkında

The IISM Master's programme provides knowledge and skills in the management of intra- and inter-organisational information systems. Project management skills, foreign languages and cultural management skills are also on the curriculum. Through an internship abroad, you will acquire skills in international practice. Furthermore, current topics and requirements are taken into account: in addition to professional issues, for example, dealing with socio-cultural, economic, political-legal and technological requirements. In addition, IISM students will focus on sustainability in the management of international organisations and their IT in the context of medium and long-term trends - for example, globalisation, stronger regulation. The program consists of six module groups: (1) Core Studies International Information Systems Management, focusing on international IS management with courses like IT Business Value and Digital Change Management; (2) Core Studies Information Systems, deepening knowledge in business informatics with options like Data Analytics and Digital Platforms; (3) Core Studies Business Administration/Economics; (4) Seminars on specific questions of international information systems; (5) Internationalisation, including a compulsory internship in an IT organisation with international focus; and (6) Master's Thesis, a 6-month independent research project.

* Minimum degree required: Bachelor's degree in International Information Systems Management or a related course with a grade of 2.7 or better * Related courses: Economics courses, computer science courses, business informatics course, industrial engineering course * For related bachelor's degrees, applicants must demonstrate: modules in business informatics (at least 30 ECTS), international information systems management (at least 24 ECTS), business administration (at least 24 ECTS), and mathematical basics (at least 18 ECTS) * For foreign applicants: Proof of German language skills at least at level B2
