📋 Program Hakkında

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program with a major in German Literature is designed for students pursuing a teaching career at secondary schools. The program consists of two major subjects and pedagogical studies. Students must earn 180 ECTS credits over 6 semesters (or 8 semesters when combined with Art or Music). German Literature can be combined with Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Computer Science, Mathematics, Philosophy/Ethics, Physics, Sports, Art, or Music. After completing the Bachelor's and Master's degrees and a preparatory service, graduates can teach at general education high schools, community schools, and vocational schools.

* Higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or equivalent * Participation in the teacher orientation test ("Career Counselling for Teachers" (CCT)) * For access to the preparatory service: Knowledge of English and another foreign language

* German language skills at minimum C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) * Non-standard requirements: If you did not obtain your higher education entrance qualification at a German-speaking institution, you must provide a separate language certificate (DSH-2, TestDaF level 4 in all four parts, or comparable certificate)
