The requirements for civil engineers have changed significantly in recent years. New challenges have been added to the traditional tasks, such as the sustainability and energy efficiency of infrastructures. Modern building materials, new calculation possibilities due to the further development of computer technology and the demands on modern construction management also require in-depth knowledge. This knowledge is imparted in the Master's programme. The civil engineering study programme leading to the degree of Master of Engineering (M. Eng.) offers interested students with an above-average bachelor's or diploma degree the opportunity to deepen and extend their previous qualifications. Due to the size of the faculty of civil engineering, the entire range of civil engineering, from structural engineering, water management, environmental technology, geotechnics, transport and traffic engineering to construction operations and construction management can be offered. According to their inclinations and planned future activities, students can choose the contents of their studies largely freely.
