📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's programme 'Bionics: Mobile Systems' focuses on sustainable mobility systems. Students acquire skills in conducting experiments and setting up simulations, analyzing and conceptualizing biological locomotion systems to derive applications for technical transport systems. The program provides expertise in animal locomotion (running, swimming, flying), aero- and hydrodynamics, and methods of engineering and fluid mechanics such as body tracking, high-speed analysis, digital particle image velocimetry (DPIV) or computational fluid dynamics (CFD). For terrestrial locomotion systems, multi-body simulation (MBS) is used. The standard period of study is 3 semesters including the Master's thesis, which can be written in conjunction with partners in research and industry in Germany and abroad.

* Relevance of the first degree: Study components in the fields of biology, bionics, computer science, mechanics, technical physics, CAD, FEM, e.g. acquired in studies of biology, bionics, physics, mechatronics, fluid mechanics, materials engineering or mechanical engineering * Proof that the first degree was assessed with an average grade of at least 'good' (2.5) or an ECTS grade A to B * Graded work amounting to at least 210 points according to ECTS or equivalent achievements * Submission of relevant information on the programme of the first degree (diploma supplement), if it is not a programme offered by Hochschule Bremen
