📋 Program Hakkında

The subject of Greek in the Master of Education degree program focuses on Greek language acquisition as well as Greek literature, linguistics and cultural studies. The program has a dual focus: enhancing students' practical Greek skills by expanding their knowledge of syntax and style as well as translating complex German sentences into Greek, and studying literature from the Greek archaic period, classical period, Hellenistic period and late antiquity. The Master of Education degree program puts a strong emphasis on educational sciences and subject didactics. Students learn about theories of language teaching and learning as well as the role of Greek in multilingual teaching. The practical semester is a key component of the degree program. In teaching degree programs for grammar and comprehensive schools, students choose two school subjects.

* University degree (German or non-German) in a relevant discipline * German language proficiency (DSH level 3, CEFR level C2, as per DSH exam regulations) * Two foreign languages (modern languages on CEFR level A2 or qualification in Latin/Greek) * Proficiency certificates in Greek and Latin required * Specific modules: 67 ECTS credits each in subject knowledge/subject didactics modules of the chosen school subjects (with 3 ECTS credits each in subject didactics) | 24 ECTS credits in educational sciences (with 3 ECTS credits on the topic of inclusion; aptitude and orientation internship as well as vocational internship) | Bachelor's thesis 7 ECTS credits * 9 weeks internship, incl. 25 days at a school
