📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's program in Computer Engineering (ISE) builds upon the scientific qualifications acquired in a previous Bachelor's degree by expanding specialized knowledge and practicing more specialized technical methods. The Master's examination forms a second professional qualification within the consecutive ISE study program, significantly expanding career prospects compared to a Bachelor's degree. The program prepares graduates for the global job market or research and development in an international context. Graduates can handle demanding conceptual and innovation-oriented tasks in engineering-oriented computer science in industry, make independent scientific contributions to research, and later take on leadership roles. Students can choose between two profiles: 'Intelligent Networked Systems' (with modules like secure software development, testing and reliability of digital systems, channel coding and reliable communication, real-time systems, or computer arithmetic) and 'Interactive Systems and Visualization' (with modules like graphic data processing and visualization, interactive systems, design of interactive teaching/learning systems, multimedia systems, or electronic communities). The program includes a seminar where students learn to prepare and present scientific topics, a practical project that enables group work on a small project from one of the two profiles, and a Master's thesis through which students acquire the ability to work scientifically independently. As part of the ISE study program structure, the Master's degree consists of core subjects, advanced theory subjects, profile subjects, electives, and the master thesis (6 months with colloquium). The advanced theories provide necessary background, core subjects offer in-depth knowledge in the specific discipline, electives allow students to choose and deepen their own profile, and non-technical courses aim to deepen general education, increase linguistic competence, and strengthen teamwork and presentation abilities.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Bachelor's degree in the ISE study program with an overall grade of 2.5 or better, or * Equivalent degree from another domestic or foreign university with an average grade of 2.5 or better (equivalence is determined by the examination board) * If changing study direction within the ISE program when transitioning from Bachelor to Master, the examination board may require proof of specific knowledge before registering for the Master's thesis
