📋 Program Hakkında

Automation and Control (A&C) is a research-oriented Master's program. It consists of a core and an elective part. Students can choose between two specializations: Real-Time Control Systems (RCS) and Connected Automation Systems (CAS). Automation and control technology deals with the control and regulation of complex systems such as production facilities, distributed networks, or on-chip/on-board architectures. Robustness and security are always the focus. Automation and control technology are among the most important technology drivers in our industrialized society, both today and in the future. They form the robust and efficient technical basis for industrial production facilities, the operation of infrastructure systems, and our daily lives. During the Master's program, students acquire in-depth knowledge in the areas of control engineering, modeling, development of safe and robust systems, and mechatronic systems. Graduates of the Master's program in Automation and Control (A&C) are capable of analyzing, describing, and structuring interdisciplinary tasks in control and automation technology, calculating and designing components, machines, plants, and systems, implementing technical solutions using mathematical, simulative, and algorithmic methods, applying scientific methods to gain new insights, working in project teams, presenting results, evaluating their own approach, and identifying and closing knowledge gaps. Automation engineers typically find jobs in all industries that use production and process equipment and control methodology, including mechanical and automotive engineering, energy supply and management, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, electrical industry, construction and environmental equipment, food industry, manufacturing and packaging industry, robot development, aerospace industry, and more.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Minimum degree required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent * English language proficiency: TOEFL (550 paper-based, 213 computer-based, 80 internet-based) or IELTS (6.0) or equivalent * Required documents: CV, motivation letter, certified copies of Bachelor certificate and transcripts, description of subjects covered in previous studies, two letters of recommendation * German language: Not required at application, but must acquire basic German knowledge and pass the A1-level exam at RPTU within the first year of studies (or provide A2-Goethe certificate)

🗣 Dil Gereksinimleri

* TOEFL: 550 points (paper-based), 213 points (computer-based), 79/80 points (internet-based) * IELTS: 6.0 points * Exemption: Applicants with degrees completed in countries with English as the state language may be exempt from providing English language test results * German language: Students must acquire basic German knowledge and pass the A1-level exam at RPTU within the first year of studies * Exemption from German requirement: Students with an A2-Goethe certificate from abroad (not older than one year) can be exempted from the A1-level exam
