📋 Program Hakkında

In the master's degree program in Architecture, students deepen and expand their creative, technical and scientific skills from their bachelor's degree and develop their own professional profile. The program is structured as a project course based around the subject of design. Students work on comprehensive structural or urban design projects each semester, supplemented by thematically relevant design specializations. The program offers three thematic focus areas: Urban Design, Building Technology, and Architectural and Cultural Heritage. With the Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Architecture, graduates acquire a professionally qualifying degree that complies with the guidelines of the Federal Chamber of Architects and international associations such as UIA and AESOP. It prepares students for responsible activities in architecture, urban planning, research and teaching and creates the basis for building permit authorization and membership in a chamber of architects.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Architecture or a program with essentially the same content * Minimum knowledge and achievements in: Design (60 CP), Building Technology (30 CP), Theoretical and Historical Foundations (20 CP), Design and Presentation (20 CP), Urban and Landscape Planning (15 CP) * Twelve-week full-time internship in an architectural office or building construction department * Subject-specific study aptitude test (design and project portfolio / interview) * Letter of motivation of no more than 500 words

* Knowledge of German or English is required (proficiency in one of the two languages is sufficient) * German: at least level C1 of CEFR * English: at least level B2 of CEFR * TOEFL iBT: at least 90 points * IELTS: overall score of at least 6.5, no section below 5.5 * Cambridge Certificate C1 Advanced (CAE), C2 Proficiency (CPE), or B2 First (FCE)
