📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's program in Automation and Safety builds on foundations acquired in relevant Bachelor's programs such as Electrical and Electronic Engineering or other programs with components in control and automation technology and dynamics. The program focuses on advanced topics in mathematics (including vector analysis, numerical mathematics), automation technology (with advanced theoretical methods), and computer science (real-time systems and distributed computer systems). Special emphasis is placed on fault diagnosis and fault tolerance in technical systems, which is particularly important given the complexity of modern technical systems with high hazard potential. The program offers two specialization areas: 'Automation and Control Engineering' and 'SAFE Systems'. Graduates are prepared for solving particularly complex or demanding tasks, with the ability to work on theoretically complex topics and solve complicated automation tasks requiring sophisticated methods of modeling, simulation, and control. Career opportunities include research, project management, and leadership positions with personnel responsibility. As part of the International Studies in Engineering (ISE) program structure, the Master's degree consists of core subjects, advanced theory subjects, profile subjects, electives, and the master thesis. The advanced theories provide necessary background for education in the chosen field. Core subjects are mandatory and provide in-depth knowledge in the specific discipline. Electives allow students to choose and deepen their own profile within the discipline. Non-technical courses aim to deepen general education, increase linguistic competence, and strengthen teamwork and presentation abilities. The program concludes with a master thesis that demonstrates the student's capability to process engineering problems autonomously using scientific methods.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Bachelor's degree from the ISE program with an overall grade of 3.0 or better, or * Equivalent degree from another domestic or foreign university with an average grade of 3.0 or better (equivalence determined by the examination board) * If changing study direction within the ISE program when transitioning from Bachelor to Master, the examination board may require proof of specific knowledge before registering for the Master's thesis
