📋 Program Hakkında

Detmold University of Music offers a modern instrumental and singing study programme. With its basis in sound artistic vocal or instrumental development, it is well-known for preparing students to face the many and varied challenges of their future working life. The instrumental teachers it has trained teach at state, municipal and private training institutions (music schools, music colleges or music academies) or as self-employed tutors. During their study course, cooperative and forms of working, together with individual supervision and encouragement, ensure that attention is given to individual strengths and weaknesses. As part of a careful career development process, there is an ongoing dialogue between student and teacher in order to observe the student's personality development and bring out its main features. There are different options for in-depth study in the fields of elementary music pedagogy, whole class music making, Jazz-Rock-Pop, musicology, theory/aural training, a second main instrument, singing or music communication.
