📋 Program Hakkında

In the certificate program in Historical Science, students explore the history of world regions such as Europe, West Asia, or North America. In an increasingly globalized world, the program is oriented towards world regions and cultural spaces. The program offers a unique approach in Germany, combining current cultural studies and social history perspectives. The study is conducted from a world-historical perspective and focuses on the world regions represented at the University of Erfurt and European history. The program can be pursued in two variants: World History or European History (with a section on non-European history). Students who wish to study for teaching at secondary schools must choose the European History variant.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Completed higher education degree, OR * At least half of a basic degree program completed (i.e., 90 ECTS credits of the Bachelor's program at the University of Erfurt), including the required study and examination requirements of the orientation phase, proven by successfully completed module examinations. In this case, the certificate for successful continuing education in the chosen minor field of study will be issued at the earliest when the successful completion of the basic course of study is available.
